Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre issued the following announcement on May 7.

We are very pleased to recognize Sunnybrook nurses who have been nominated for both the 2018 Toronto Star Nightingale and Hospital News Nursing Heroes Awards.

Sunnybrook nurses nominated for the 17th Annual Toronto Star Nightingale Award

This year 12 Sunnybrook nurses were nominated for the Toronto Star Nightingale Award. This award is presented each year to an Ontario nurse nominated for recognition by their patients or peers. The recipient and honourable mentions are selected by a panel of representatives from the Star and Ontario’s nursing associations.
