Production on Predictiv AI Inc.'s ThermalPass units is picking up with 28 orders in just two weeks.
The company, which is a software and solutions provider specializing in artificial intelligence, said the more than two dozen units are scheduled to be installed by the end of 2020.
The ThermalPass is able to detect temperatures through sensors. Recent purchases of the products which range from $6,900 for the ThermalPass Portable and $7,300 for the ThermalPass Pro have come from a Canadian provincial government, public schools in the United States and several hospitals.
Michael Lende, president and CEO of Predictive AI, said in a release published by PR Newswire that the company is "excited" about the purchases and believe that these orders could increase.
"We are now getting traction in some of the largest market segments, including hospitals, schools and long-term care facilities among others," he said. "We continue to actively market ThermalPass with multiple demos daily across Canada, the U.S. and internationally."
