At the recent Medical Marketing + Media (MM+M) Awards, Klick Health won the Large Agency of the Year for 2020 award.
A top honor in healthcare marketing, the award honors Klick Health’s past year of record growth, impressive hires, and distinctions for its business culture focused on people, both clients and employees, as reported by Businesswire. In the last nine years, the Toronto-based company, which has offices across North America, has won nine Agency of the Year industry awards.
Representing the company, CEO of Klick Health Lori Grant accepted the award.
“This year has been unprecedented for everyone in the healthcare industry as we focus on keeping people safe and ensuring patients receive the care they need,” said Grant as reported by Businesswire. “We have never been prouder to serve our clients and our industry, and we are grateful to our growing team for always rising to the challenge and continuing to do our part to make a difference in the world.”
Established in 1997, Klick health is the largest independent commercialization partner for life sciences in the world, as reported by Businesswire. The company has broadened expectations for what health marketers can do, according to MM+M. Klick works with life sciences brands to reach their full market potential through development, launches and support.
“We like to think we’re able to conspire a little bit with the future,” said Klick cofounder and former CEO Leerom Segal, as seen in MM+M’s Agency 100. “You’ve seen us evolve from a tech firm to a digital-marketing agency to a full marketing agency to a company that’s expanding into all facets of life sciences commercialization. It’s a privilege to own some of tomorrow’s most exciting opportunities. That’s what gets us up in the morning.”
The company focuses on its own competitiveness rather than on what its competitors are doing, said Segal.
The company made a number of high-profile hires this year including Rich Levy as Chief Creative Officer, as seen in Businesswire. One of the developments that helped garner attention for Klick Health over the last year was hopping on board The Fred Rogers Center’s ‘Kindness is Contagious’ holiday video. Earning a Webby Award, the video was viewed approximately six million times and raised $12,500 toward the healthy development of children.
