Hatch Ltd. issued the following announcement on May 8.
Some of Hatch's Australia interns pose at a fundraising event in support of bushfire relief.
For the third year in a row, Hatch has ranked in a list of Australia’s Top Intern Programs for 2020. Hatch placed seventeenth in the list of the top forty intern programs, which are providing amazing educational opportunities for students and young professionals across the nation.
A survey conducted by the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) has analyzed the responses from 1,700 interns across Australia who interned between 2019 and 2020. The interns responded to questions in fifteen different categories that summarize the aspects of being an intern within an organization (induction, training, workload, social life, etc.). The responses were averaged across the categories and provided a comprehensive measurement of each employer's performance.
A definitive guide to the best internships across Australia, Hatch has been recognized for being an organization that provides the most positive and opportune experience for student engineers. Those who participated in our 2019/2020 vacation student program voted for Hatch by sharing the many factors that established their professional gain and enjoyment from working with our teams and leaders.
“My opportunity to participate in Hatch’s student vacation program was invaluable to my future successes working in the engineering industry. I was able to build a portfolio of work as I was involved in various projects, visiting and assessing sites, and working within multidisciplinary teams, proving that Hatch was a progressive and vibrant organization that made me feel my contributions were valued.
I am extremely grateful for the time and opportunities that my manager, team, and the rest of the Hatch employees provided me with” said Charlotte Levy, one of the 2020 participants.
We are very proud to have been voted as one of the top internship programs in Australia by our vacation students for a third year running. We continue to empower the future engineers and leaders of our organization and know we are supporting those who will share in the innovation and ingenuity of our future to create positive change.
Earlier this year, Hatch was also announced as one of the Top Graduate Employers for 2020 by the AAGE for the second consecutive year, rising more than twenty-five spots in the list of seventy-five employers. Similar to the Top Intern Programs list, the Top Graduate Employers ranking is determined entirely from survey feedback gathered from graduates who have spent twelve months working with their employer.
