George Brown College issued the following announcement on April 3.
On April 3, Public Health Ontario released projection data related to COVID-19 and shared that while the province’s number of cases is roughly in line with the rest of Canada and the U.S., Ontario may see 3,000 to 15,000 deaths over the course of the pandemic.
While these are startling numbers, they provide an important reminder that if we do all that we can now, we can help to slow the spread of the virus. Public health authorities continue to encourage us all to stay home and stay safe.
