George Brown College issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
George Brown College and Saskatchewan Polytechnic are teaming up to share expertise. We also want to explore exciting opportunities in Africa.
George Brown and Saskatchewan Polytech are two of 13 polytechnic institutions across Canada—schools dedicated to hands-on and work-integrated learning. On November 21, 2019, we announced a partnership to explore opportunities to work together on curricula with the goal of speeding up the development of industry-relevant programs.
We also plan to work together to provide new opportunities in Africa for students and faculty.
“Preparing learners for success in the global economy is core to our mandates at both George Brown College and Saskatchewan Polytechnic,” says Dr. Rick Huijbregts, Vice-President of Strategy and Innovation at George Brown College. “With an education boom just beginning in Africa, we’re exploring new pathway and learning opportunities for domestic and international students, as well as international professional development opportunities for faculty.”
Earlier this year we released our plan for the future called Strategy 2022, Vision 2030. Academic and international partnerships are a big part of our plan. Original source: https://www.georgebrown.ca/news/george-brown-college-teaming--up-with-saskatchewan-polytech/
