Charles Falzon is completing his first term as dean of the Faculty of Communications and Design, and in keeping with Ryerson University’s policy for the Appointment of Academic Administrators (AAA Policy), I am writing to announce the establishment of a decanal review/search committee for the dean of the Faculty of Communication and Design.

The establishment of the committee and the subsequent review/search process will adhere to Ryerson’s policies on equity, diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention and access (further details are available in the AAA Policy, Part 4, Section 1, and AAA Procedures, Part 2, Section 1H).

Information regarding dates and links to nomination forms will be emailed directly by the Senate Office to members of the respective academic units who are eligible to nominate and vote for members to this committee.

I look forward to sharing the composition of the committee with the community over the coming weeks.
