RioCan’s Jonathan Gitlin, Senior Vice President, Investments & Residential discusses the company’s push into the residential market. 

RioCan is responding to the shortage of transit oriented residential projects in Canada’s major markets by leveraging its land and experience to launch its residential brand, RioCan Living. RioCan Living will deliver best in class purpose-built rental and condo units along Canada’s most prominent transit corridors, with eight projects actively in development. 

RioCan Living will merge RioCan’s retail expertise with residential development to deliver value to residents and tenants, and in doing will add diversity to its portfolio and make the highest and best use out of its existing properties.
