The Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) recently hosted an information session for its Biz Futures program during which participants get business-plan training, as well as advice and support, throughout the implementation and startup of their business.
The Biz Futures program, which is sponsored by the Ontario Disability Supports Program – Employment Supports, is a skills-development and business-support program for entrepreneurs with disabilities who are starting a business, according to a press release.
The program provides individual support so participants can launch their business ideas and helps them develop skills through workshops.
For more information or to participate in the TBDC Biz Futures program, call 416-345-9437 or email bizfutures@tbdc.com
The TBDC, which was established by the city of Toronto 27 years ago, helps put entrepreneurs with disabilities in touch with resources and gives business advisory support in an effort to help them establish their business. The TBDC also works with other community organizations to help make mentors and financing programs available for women and young people.
