The Canadian Junior Golf Association (CJGA) recently hosted the Nike Golf Junior Series at the Caledon Woods Golf Club in Caledon.
The event acted as a qualifying series for the players annual American Junior Golf Association/CJGA Junior Championship and the FCG Callaway World Championship in California.
According to the CJGA, Caledon Woods combines modern amenities with a traditional club style to deliver top golf conditions.
“When golf course architect Paul Takahashi renovated the course in 2003 he introduced a links-style element to the club along with engaging greens that have wide range of slopes and contours,” CJGA wrote in its press release.
The event was ranked by Golf Ontario and the Junior Golf Scoreboard.
The CJGA, a not-for-profit organization registered with Revenue Canada, provides junior golfers in the country with access and knowledge to competitive golf opportunities.
