First Global Data recently partnered with Mansoor Brothers Enterprises Inc. to provide services that will build First Global’s mobile wallet offerings in North America.
First Global said in a press release that the agreement will allow Mansoor to send its current member base across to Global’s mobile wallet. The move will allow Canada’s users to receive discounts when they purchase telephone and internet services, the company said. Users in Canada will benefit with international money remittance, entertainment, personal tax returns, drug benefits, movies at Cineplex, Esso gasoline, auto and home insurance and more with Payqwik, according to First Global.
“By integrating the First Global Wallet onto our ATM and POS networks in Canada and the U.S., it will enable First Global to provide a fluid and fintech-focused Cross Border Wallet deployment,” Mansoor’s president and CEO Mansoor Naqvi said in the release.
First Global’s chief financial officer, Nayeem Alli, said in the release that the partnership will allow the company to reach new users fast.
“Partnering with MBE provides First Global with immediate user penetration for its Canadian launch, an ecosystem with value-added services for our mobile wallet clients and a path for rapid monetization as we launch services in Canada,” Alli said.
Canadian-based Mansoor is a business-solutions-and-services company that works with IT services, real estate, insurance, mortgage, POS, ATM, accounting and credit counselling.
First Global serves as an international financial services technology company working in mobile payments and cross-border payments.
