AmeriSpec has launched a web app that allows homebuyers to score potential properties based on home inspection-type questions and helps users earn coupons for home-related retail shopping.
AmeriSpec has announced the development of the new web app called HomeScore, designed to help homebuyers look at critical aspects of a property through a home inspection point of view.
Through the app, buyers are asked to rate 12 simple items, which then produces a score for the home and allows the buyer to compare that particular home with up to three other homes side by side. The user can also add photos and notes about the home. In addition, the app provides points for users to earn that can be redeemed as coupons to home-related stores.
“At AmeriSpec, we understand the information overload faced by homebuyers,” Jeffery Brookfield, AmeriSpec’s manager of Canadian operations said, in a press release. “Sometimes it’s not so easy to focus on what’s really important in a home. This app aids buyers during the home search, helps them score and compare the homes they’ve seen and in today’s busy market that could be quite a few.”
The HomeScore app can be used on a smartphone or web browser, where users can register or log in through Facebook or Twitter accounts.
