V2designworks recently launched “Solidarity,” its new line of specialty designed jewelry, and is marketing the collection as helping to inspire and empower women to make a positive change in the world.

The new collection is created by V2deisgnwork’s owner and designer Carolyn Jankovskis, who said she had set her sights on designing the collection for several years but finally completed the pieces after last year's presidential election in the United States and International Women’s Day. She said in an announcement that she hopes to evolve the collection as more inspiring women influence her designs in the future.  

The jewelry designs were inspired by women both past and present who have made a tremendous impact on our world, according to the announcement. Jankovskis said her collection is designed to highlight the life and works of brave women and features influential women activists.

“The Solidarity collection is about strong women who have created change for the good in the world,” Jankovskis said. “Every one of these pieces has their own unique style and it’s based on someone who I feel has done something positive for the world.”

Jankovskis said the motto of V2designworks is “contemporary jewelry for the brave” and that she strives to make unique pieces which she hopes brings meaning to those wear her jewelry designs.
