Northwest Healthcare Properties Real Estate Investment Trust recently named five new trustees during its annual general meeting of unitholders.
All nominees for trustee listed on the ballot were elected during the meeting and include Dr. Martin Barkin, Colin Loudon, Dr. C. David Naylor, Brian Petersen and Robert Baron.
Also during the annual meeting, Paul Dalla Lana and Bernard Crotty were appointed as trustees in accordance with the trust’s declaration.
Northeast Healthcare Properties Real Estate Investment Trust, established under the laws of the province of Ontario, is an open-ended real estate investment trust. The trust offers investors health care real estate assets in 141 income-producing properties in 9.5 million square feet of leasable space, according to an announcement.
Trust properties in Canada, Brazil, Germany, Australia and New Zealand include medical office buildings, clinics and hospitals with long-term, stable leases. Northwest’s senior management team oversees 180 professionals across nine offices in five countries.
