Flexiti Financial, a Toronto-based sales financing company, has named two executives to newly created posts in an effort to help meet the company’s expansion needs.
Flexiti recently appointed Jerome Peeters and Colin Franks to its executive team, with Peeters serving as chief operating officer and Franks filling the position of chief risk officer.
Flexiti’s founder and CEO Peter Kalen said the two executives are coming on board at a critical time for the company, as is it currently undergoing rapid growth.
“Jerome and Colin are two exceptionally well-respected senior executives in the financial services industry and we couldn’t be more excited to bring their calibre of talent and experience to the Flexiti Financial team,” Kalen said in a press release. “They join us at an important time for the company as we manage rapid growth while staying true to our goal – to be the leader in POS financing for retailers through the constant evolution of our technology and development of innovative financing tools. Their expertise will play a critical role in our continued journey and future success.”
Peeters previously served as vice president of operations and client services for B2B Bank. He also served for four years at Sears Canada in several senior marketing and operations positions.
Franks’ experience includes serving as chief risk officer for Canadian Credit Cards at JP Morgan Chase. He also served nine years with MBNA, including working as the company’s director of strategic and risk planning.
