Los Angeles-based Chrome River Technologies will be launching data hosting in Canada.
Chrome River will be using Amazon Web Services’ data center, which is based out of Montreal, to use two “availability zones.” The data center will make it possible for organizations, federal and government divisions to host employee’s expense management data within Canada.
Chrome River’s CEO Alan Rich said the company’s expansion will help provide increased data protection, which many organizations require.
“As Chrome River continues to expand its presence in Canada, our customers, particularly those in higher education or with a public-sector focus, are increasingly expressing a need to keep their employees’ expense data in Canada,” Rich said in an announcement. “We’re happy to be able to provide the enhanced data protection capabilities that many organizations now require, while offering a solution suitable for global expense management requirements.”
Chrome River has more than 1 million users at 600 organizations worldwide and provides expense management and supplier invoice processing, according to the announcement.
